What is UAE PASS?
UAE PASS is the official digital identity service of the UAE government. It allows you to verify your identity securely.
What information does Sinder receive?
When you use UAE PASS with Sinder, we may receive information authorised by you, such as:

- address details if shared; and
- other identity or KYC attributes made available through UAE PASS.
We do not receive or store your UAE PASS password and cannot access your other UAE PASS services.
Why do we need this information?
We use UAE PASS data to:
- verify your identity;
- pre-fill and maintain your Sinder profile;
- support account/card opening;
- complete KYC, AML/CFT and sanctions checks;
- prevent fraud and misuse;
- service your Sinder account and app access; and
- comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Sharing with ruya
Sinder may share relevant UAE PASS identity and KYC data with Ruya Community Islamic Bank LLC for:
- account/card opening;
- KYC/AML checks;
- ongoing servicing;
- fraud prevention;
- transaction monitoring; and
- regulatory compliance.
Sinder may also share relevant data with Network International, Mastercard, KYC/AML providers, fraud/security vendors and authorities where required or permitted by law.
Your consents when using UAE PASS
When you use UAE PASS with Sinder, you authorise UAE PASS to share your verified information with Sinder. You confirm that the information is accurate and understand that it may be required for onboarding and access to products made available through the Sinder App.
Your use of the Sinder App is also governed by the Sinder Terms of Use and Sinder Privacy Policy.
Can I revoke access or request deletion?
You can request closure or deletion through the Sinder App or by contacting Sinder at privacy@sinder.ae or support@sinder.ae.
Some records may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, AML/CFT, dispute-resolution, fraud prevention, audit or accounting purposes.
Revoking access may prevent Sinder from providing app access to the ruya-issued account or Card.
