These Benefits & Rewards Terms ("Benefits Terms") set out the rules that apply to non-cash perks, privileges and offers made available with your Sinder Travel Card (the "Benefits").
In these Benefits Terms, "Sinder", "we", "us" and "our" mean Sinder Fintech Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design L.L.C.
Ruya Community Islamic Bank LLC ("ruya") is the issuer/account provider for the Sinder Travel Card. ruya is mentioned in these Benefits Terms only where Card or account status is relevant.
1. Relationship with other terms
These Benefits Terms should be read together with:
- the Sinder General Terms of Use;
- the Cardholder Agreement between you and ruya;
- the Sinder FX & Fees Disclosure; and
- the Sinder Privacy Policy.
Benefits may also be subject to terms, conditions, eligibility rules, availability rules and usage instructions from the relevant third-party provider ("Benefit Partner"). If a Benefit Partner's terms govern how a Benefit is used or delivered, those terms apply to that Benefit.
2. Definitions
In these Benefits Terms:
- "Benefit" means any non-cash perk, privilege, discount, offer, upgrade, access right, protection, insurance/takaful coverage or similar advantage made available in connection with the Card.
- "Benefit Partner" means a third party that provides or fulfils a Benefit, such as a lounge operator, merchant, insurer/takaful provider, hotel, car rental company, restaurant, travel service provider or card scheme.
- "Eligible Card" means a Sinder Travel Card or tier that qualifies for the relevant Benefit as shown in the Sinder App.
- "Guest" means a person you invite or bring to use a Benefit where guest access is permitted.
3. Eligibility
You are eligible for a Benefit only if:
- you hold an Eligible Card;
- your ruya-issued Card and account are active, not blocked or suspended, and in good standing;
- you have completed required onboarding, KYC and compliance checks;
- you have not materially breached the applicable Product Terms; and
- the Benefit is available to your Card tier, location and customer profile.
The Sinder App will show which Benefits are available to you. Benefits may differ between Sinder Travel Card - Blue, Sinder Travel Card - Coral and Founder tier.
4. Using Benefits
To use a Benefit, you may need to:
- present your physical Card or digital Card;
- show a QR code, voucher, pass or unique code in the Sinder App;
- pay using the Card;
- book through a specified portal, app or link;
- provide identification, boarding pass or proof of eligibility; or
- follow instructions from Sinder or the Benefit Partner.
Benefits are for personal, non-commercial use only unless expressly stated otherwise. You must not sell, transfer, auction or otherwise monetise a Benefit.
5. Availability and changes
Benefits are subject to availability, capacity, location, date, time, partner participation and applicable law. We do not guarantee that a Benefit will be available at every time or location.
Benefit Partners may change opening hours, participation, inventory, menus, pricing, access rules or other conditions.
We may introduce, change, suspend or withdraw Benefits at any time, including for commercial, operational, regulatory, risk, fraud prevention or partner-related reasons. Where required, we will provide notice through the Sinder App or another appropriate channel.
6. Airport lounge access
If lounge access is made available for your Card tier in the Sinder App, it may be provided through Mastercard Travel Pass by DragonPass or another disclosed Benefit Partner.
Lounge access is subject to:
- the applicable lounge network or Benefit Partner terms;
- participating lounge locations;
- opening hours and capacity;
- entry rules, including identification, boarding pass, dress code, guest and child rules;
- visit limits, guest limits and fees shown in the Sinder App or by the Benefit Partner; and
- any conditions shown in the Sinder App.
Access is not guaranteed. Lounges may refuse entry or ask you to leave because of capacity, security restrictions, conduct rules, local rules or other reasons set by the lounge or airport.
7. Dining, travel and merchant offers
If dining, travel, merchant or lifestyle offers are made available in the Sinder App, each offer will show the applicable conditions, such as:
- participating merchants or locations;
- booking or redemption method;
- minimum spend or eligible items;
- usage caps or expiry dates;
- blackout dates or availability limits; and
- whether payment with the Card is required.
Offers cannot be exchanged for cash and usually cannot be applied retrospectively or combined with other promotions unless stated.
8. Protection or insurance/takaful benefits
If a protection, insurance or takaful Benefit is made available in the Sinder App, it is provided by the relevant insurer, takaful operator, card scheme or Benefit Partner, not by Sinder.
You must read the applicable policy wording, schedule, exclusions, eligibility rules and claims process. Sinder may help you locate information, but claim decisions are made by the relevant provider.
9. Benefit caps, expiry and loss of access
Benefits may have per-use, daily, monthly, annual, per-trip, per-customer or monetary limits. Such limits will be shown in the Sinder App or Benefit Partner materials.
If your Card tier changes, your Card or account is closed, suspended or blocked, or the Benefit is withdrawn, you may lose access to some or all Benefits. Unused Benefits may be forfeited.
10. Fees, charges and taxes
Some Benefits may involve fees, such as lounge guest fees, premium upgrades, partner surcharges, taxes, duties, airport charges or government fees.
Any Sinder or Card-related fees will be shown in the Sinder App, the FX & Fees Disclosure or applicable Product Terms. Benefit Partner charges are your responsibility unless the Benefit terms clearly say they are included.
11. Misuse
We may suspend, remove or restrict Benefits if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, abuse, resale, multiple-account abuse, breach of these Benefits Terms or breach of Benefit Partner rules.
ruya may also block or restrict the Card/account where required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, card scheme rules, issuer requirements or compliance/risk controls.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Benefits are provided by Sinder and/or Benefit Partners depending on the Benefit. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, availability or fitness for purpose of goods or services provided by Benefit Partners.
Any dispute about goods or services provided by a Benefit Partner is between you and that Benefit Partner, without prejudice to any rights you may have under applicable law or card scheme rules.
Nothing in these Benefits Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Benefits Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict of law rules.
The courts of Dubai, UAE and, where applicable, the federal courts of the UAE shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Benefits Terms, subject to any mandatory rules under applicable law.
14. Contact and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about a Benefit, contact Sinder first through:
- the Help & Support section of the Sinder App; or
- email: support@sinder.ae
We may investigate and respond directly or help you contact the relevant Benefit Partner.
